Kian Rug Company offers rug rental from our inventory of Persian, oriental, tribal, and contemporary pieces for home staging, corporate events, photoshoots, film productions, and temporary installations. Pieces are available for short-term rental with pickup and delivery across Colorado.

Who Rents Rugs  and Why

Home Staging for Real Estate

The most common rental application. A well-chosen rug defines zones in an open-plan space, adds warmth to rooms that photograph as cold, and signals the quality level of a property to prospective buyers before they’ve processed anything else in the room.

We work with real estate agents, staging companies, and homeowners preparing a property for sale. Pieces are available for the duration of the listing and returned when the property sells or is taken off market. For agents with active inventory across multiple properties, we discuss ongoing rental arrangements.

Staged properties with the right furnishings  including rugs appropriate to the price point  consistently photograph better and spend less time on market. For a luxury listing in Cherry Creek, Aspen, or Vail, a fine Persian or Oushak-design piece appropriate to the price point is part of the presentation, not a detail.

Corporate and Hospitality Events

Rugs define space in a way that temporary furniture often can’t. For corporate events, product launches, gallery openings, and hospitality functions, a Persian or tribal piece on the floor of an otherwise neutral event space sets a tone immediately. We supply pieces for single-event rental  delivery day-before, pickup day-after  and for multi-day installations.

For luxury hospitality clients  hotels, private clubs, resort venues  we work on a seasonal or event-specific basis and can coordinate with event planners and venue managers directly.

Photography and Film Production

Prop rental for editorial photography, commercial shoots, and film productions is a recurring use case for our rental inventory. A Persian rug in a domestic scene, a tribal piece for an outdoor editorial, or a high-value antique for a period production scene  these are standard requests. We provide pieces appropriate to the aesthetic direction and can advise on which pieces will photograph well for specific lighting and color palette requirements.

For productions with specific prop requirements, we discuss the brief before confirming availability. Not every piece in our inventory is appropriate for every application, and we’d rather advise against a piece that won’t work than deliver something that doesn’t serve the production.

Short-Term Rentals and Furnished Properties

Property owners furnishing Airbnb and short-term rental properties in Colorado’s mountain communities increasingly use rental rugs for seasonal periods. A piece rented for peak ski season and returned in spring is economically more sensible than purchasing for a property that sits empty for part of the year. Interior Design Trials

Interior designers use rug rental as a way to test how a specific piece works in a space before committing to a purchase  or to present a finished room to a client before making the final buying decision. We accommodate design trial rentals for clients working with designers in our network.

Inventory availability varies. We confirm specific piece availability at the time of inquiry  pieces in active rental are not available for simultaneous rental, and pieces in our showroom for sale may be available for rental if not under an active purchase offer.

Rental Terms

Duration

We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rental terms. For staging applications, monthly terms with a rolling extension are the most practical option  the piece stays in the property for the duration of the listing without fixed return pressure.

Delivery and Pickup

Delivery and pickup is included in the rental rate for Denver metro area applications. Mountain community delivery (Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, and surrounding areas) is available with advance scheduling and a delivery fee based on location.

Security Deposit

A security deposit is held for the duration of the rental and returned upon the piece’s return in the condition it was delivered. Normal wear from appropriate use is not charged against the deposit. Damage beyond normal wear is assessed at return and charged against the deposit with documentation.

Insurance During Rental

We carry coverage for pieces during transport. Clients are responsible for appropriate coverage during the rental period  homeowner’s, renter’s, or event insurance. For high-value pieces, we advise on coverage requirements at the time of the rental agreement.

How much does it cost to rent a rug?

Rental rates depend on the piece value, the rental duration, and the application. Daily rates apply to single-event and production rentals. Weekly and monthly rates are discounted from the daily equivalent. We provide specific pricing at inquiry based on the piece and duration.

How long can I rent a rug for?

Daily, weekly, and monthly terms are available. For staging applications, we offer rolling monthly extensions so the piece stays in place for the duration of a listing without forced return pressure.

Do you offer delivery for rug rentals in Denver?

Yes. Delivery and pickup is included in the rental rate for Denver metro area. Mountain community delivery is available with advance scheduling and a location-based fee.

What happens if the rented rug is damaged?

Normal wear appropriate to the stated use is covered under the rental terms. Damage beyond normal wear  staining, structural damage, damage inconsistent with the stated use  is assessed at return and charged against the security deposit. We document the piece’s condition with photographs at delivery and return. Transparent process, no surprises.
